Have you tried atom on old hardware/phone ?
to be fair it does not work well .. there is no navigation and on the phone you can not navigate the
site well (as the back button does not work) on 2002 hardware the site struggles to render, perhaps
this is too much jquery ?

what's this do ?
I don't think 2002 phones even have internet browsers.
There is barely any jQuery compared to most of the competitors.
If you're still using 2002 hardware then, you probably have far bigger problems than jQuery acting
up. Will jQuery get optimised? Perhaps.
Are you using an old browser by any chance? Modern browsers are generally much much more
optimised than ancient ones.

I noticed that you've been pushing out an awful lot of negative posts lately including points that
you have made over and over and that you're from a competing project.
Wow... Have you considered that it could just be that AtomBB has a lot of bugs?* If anything, @JimR
is helping you by doing testing FOR YOU.

*It does.
@Azula There's a bug in the alert system that does this. By the way, have you heard of this bug in
the alert system. Hey Azareal, there's this bug in the alert system. I can't leave this forum silent
for a week or two without this happening. And why did you make a duplicate account?

Let's be realistic here. 2002 hardware is an obscure problem, with the more likely problem being old
browsers. Maybe, we should short-circuit some of the jQuery on absurdly old browsers. Believe it or
not though, but IE6 and IE7 are no longer relevant to the modern world.

Please stop trolling. And didn't I ask you to PM me with what you want me to change your username
to..? Don't make me ban you for not following my instructions in regards to copying my name, I don't
have time to deal with your nonsense, and you probably have better things to do than screwing around
here.

Consider this an official warning. I don't have the patience to go through the warning system.

I remade this account because of... you know what? A bug. A bug that made it so I couldn't log in
with that account. And copying your name? What a load of nonsense! This name is from Azula, the
princess of the Fire Nation.
And another thing, the Quick Reply area has a button that says Create Topic, when it probably should
say Create Reply.
I mentioned just that atom bb is not older hardware/phone friendly and it lacks any form of
navigation (the browser/phone back key does not work) ... I did not mention I was using a 2002 phone
... but a 2002 pc and a smart phone to test atom, however I may not have made this clear. So you say
older browsers are not relevant  ... I disagree ... have you ever been at work at lunch time (this
is when you may be allowed to browse using the company hardware & infrastructure) and the software
does not work. It is a good idea, perhaps, to render the whole site via JS but to date I have not
seen any 'fall back' if the client machine has JS disabled .
@Azula I understand your frustration

what's this do ?
The software should work with JS disabled. Granted, it might have less functionality, but if you're
at work then, you should be working and flashy effects will only distract you. For an internal
intranet for a company, the lack of flashy effects is a non-issue.
If users want the most cutting edge functionality then, they upgrade to a more recent browser. If
not then, they have a lower level of functionality. If things glitch out on IE6 then, tough. If they
glitch out on IE8 then, by the time that this is out.. IE8 will be irrelevant.. If not then,
UserAgent sniffing might be the way to go.

If I made a game then, would people expect it to run on Ultimate Quality on an old computer..?
Probably not.
This is going a bit off-topic. There's no reason to make personal attacks against people. I do have
to agree with Azareal though that corporate PC's are not really the focus of the software and their
lack of upgrades are due to IT departments making use of Group Policy, which only works with
Internet Explorer. You shouldn't be using old computers anyway for this software.

so your saying we can not have a lunch break and use the employers hardware as a perk ? To be fair I
was thinking of deploying this software on my departments local network but as it does not function
correctly on older clients .... looks like word press here we come :'(
